SandStory Terms of Service

"SandStory" software and related services refer to the products and services provided to you by Guigang Sand Story Technology Co., Ltd. and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") through its legally owned and operated client applications (including their simplified versions and other variants) and related websites (www.sandstory.cn), including but not limited to core features such as content posting and interactive communication, as well as other features. The "SandStory Terms of Service" (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is an agreement between you and the Company regarding your downloading, installation, registration, login, and use (collectively referred to as "use") of the SandStory software and the related services provided thereby.

To better provide services to you, please carefully read and fully understand this Agreement before using SandStory and its related services, particularly the provisions concerning exemption or limitation of liability, rights licensing and information use, consent to enable and use special standalone services, governing law, and dispute resolution. Among these, important provisions such as exemption or limitation of liability will be highlighted in bold to draw your attention, and you should read them carefully.

If you are under the age of 18, please carefully read and fully understand this Agreement under the guidance of your legal guardian, and use SandStory and its related services only after obtaining the consent of your legal guardian.

If you do not agree to this Agreement, the Company will be unable to provide you with complete products and services, and you may choose to stop using them. If you voluntarily choose to agree to or use SandStory and its related services, you are deemed to have fully understood this Agreement and agree to be bound by this Agreement as a party thereto, as well as by other agreements and rules related to SandStory and its related services.

The Company has the right, at its sole discretion and as required for the operation of SandStory and its related services, to arrange for or designate its affiliates, controlling companies, successor companies, or third-party companies approved by the Company to continue operating the SandStory software. Furthermore, certain services under this Agreement may be provided to you by the Company's affiliates, controlling companies, successor companies, or third-party companies approved by the Company. You acknowledge and agree that by accepting the relevant service content, you are deemed to accept that the corresponding rights and obligations are also governed by this Agreement.

2. SandStory Software and Related Services

2.1 You may use SandStory and its related services by obtaining the SandStory client application through pre-installation, authorized third-party downloads, or other means authorized by the Company, or by accessing the relevant SandStory websites. If you obtain the SandStory software from sources other than the Company or third parties authorized by the Company, the Company cannot guarantee that unofficial versions of the SandStory software will function properly, and the Company shall not be liable for any losses you incur as a result.

2.2 The Company may develop different application software versions for different terminal devices. You should obtain, download, and install the appropriate version based on your actual device conditions.

2.3 You may, at your own discretion, use SandStory and its related services or update the SandStory version as needed. If you no longer wish to use SandStory and its related services, you may also uninstall the corresponding application software on your own.

2.4 To enhance user experience and services, the Company will periodically provide updates or changes to SandStory and its related services (including but not limited to software modifications, upgrades, feature enhancements, development of new services, software replacements, etc.). You may choose whether to update to the corresponding version at your own discretion. To ensure the security of SandStory and its related services and to improve user services, the Company will, where feasible, notify you through appropriate means (including but not limited to system prompts, announcements, in-app messages, etc.) after all or part of SandStory and its related services have been updated. You have the right to choose whether to accept the updated version. If you choose not to update, certain features of SandStory and its related services may be restricted or may not function properly.

2.5 Unless expressly authorized in advance in writing by the Company, you may not engage in any unauthorized access or use of SandStory and its related services, including but not limited to adaptation, reproduction, distribution, vertical search, mirroring, or trading, in any form.

2.6 You understand that your use of SandStory and its related services requires you to prepare your own terminal devices related to the software and services (such as computers, mobile phones, etc.). Once you open the SandStory software on your terminal device or access the relevant SandStory websites, you are deemed to be using SandStory and its related services. To fully realize all features of SandStory, you may need to connect your terminal device to the internet. You understand that you shall bear the necessary costs (such as data charges, internet access fees, etc.) yourself.

2.7 The Company grants you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive, and non-commercial license to legally use SandStory and its related services. All other rights not expressly authorized in this Agreement are retained by the Company, and you must obtain additional written permission from the Company before exercising such rights. Furthermore, the Company's failure to exercise any of the foregoing rights shall not constitute a waiver of such rights.

2.8 If you discover any content within the SandStory client or official website that infringes upon your rights, you may notify the Company through the path: SandStory Client "Settings" → "User Feedback," and provide evidence of your relevant rights. The Company will promptly handle your complaint in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. If content you have posted on SandStory is subject to an infringement complaint by a relevant rights holder and is processed accordingly, and you do not agree with the result, you may file an appeal by submitting a counter-notification and relevant proof of rights to feedback@orderorigins.com. The Company will likewise handle your appeal promptly in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

3.1 SandStory and its related services provide you with a registration channel. You have the right to choose a lawful character combination as your account name and to set a password that meets security requirements. The account name and password set by the user are the credentials for the user to log in and use SandStory and its related services as a registered user.

3.2 You understand and undertake that the account name you set shall not violate national laws and regulations or the relevant rules of SandStory. Your account name, profile picture, bio, and other registration information and personal information shall not contain illegal or harmful content. You shall not open an account using another person's identity without their permission (including but not limited to impersonating another person's name, title, trade name, profile picture, etc., or adopting other means sufficient to cause confusion), and you shall not maliciously register SandStory accounts (including but not limited to frequent registration, bulk registration of accounts, etc.). During account registration and use, you shall comply with relevant laws and regulations and shall not engage in any conduct that infringes upon national interests, harms the lawful rights and interests of other citizens, or undermines social morality. The Company has the right to review the registration information you submit.

3.3 Your registered account on SandStory is for your personal use only. Without the Company's written consent, you are prohibited from gifting, lending, renting, transferring, selling, or otherwise permitting others to use the account in any form. If the Company discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that the user is not the original registrant of the account, the Company has the right to immediately suspend or terminate the provision of services to that registered account and to permanently disable the account to safeguard account security.

3.4 You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account and password and shall bear full legal liability for all activities conducted under your registered account, including but not limited to any data modifications, statements posted, payments made, and other operational actions taken through SandStory and its related services. You shall take great care to keep your account and password confidential and shall not disclose them to others under any circumstances. If you discover that your account has been used without your permission or any other security breach occurs, you shall immediately notify the Company.

3.5 If you lose your account or forget your password, you may promptly file an appeal through the Company's appeal process to request recovery of your account or password. You understand and acknowledge that the password recovery mechanism only identifies whether the information provided in the appeal form matches the records in the system and cannot identify whether the appellant is the truly authorized user of the account. The Company specifically reminds you to properly safeguard your account and password. When you have finished using the service, you should log out securely. You shall bear the corresponding responsibility for losses resulting from your own negligence or other force majeure factors that lead to account theft or password loss.

3.6 When registering, using, and managing your account, you shall ensure the authenticity of the identity information provided during account registration. Please use true, accurate, lawful, and valid relevant identity documentation and necessary information (including your name, email address, contact phone number, mailing address, etc.) when registering and managing your account. In accordance with national laws and regulations, to use certain features of SandStory and its related services, you are required to provide true identity information. Please complete real-name verification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and update the above information in a timely manner. If the materials or information you submit are inaccurate, untrue, non-compliant, unlawful, or if the Company has reason to suspect they are erroneous, false, or unlawful, the Company has the right to refuse to provide you with relevant services, and you may be unable to use SandStory and its related services or certain features may be restricted during use.

3.7 In addition to self-registering a SandStory account, you may also choose to log in to and use SandStory and its related services by authorizing the use of user accounts from other software or platforms lawfully owned by you, including but not limited to accounts from the Company and/or its affiliates, as well as third-party software or platform user accounts with real-name registration, unless restricted or prohibited by such third-party software or platform. When you log in using such existing accounts, you shall ensure that the corresponding accounts have completed real-name registration and shall equally be subject to the relevant provisions of this Agreement.

3.8 You understand and agree that, in addition to logging in to and using SandStory and its related services, you may also use your SandStory account to log in to and use other software and services provided by the Company, its affiliates, or other partners. When you log in to and use such services with your SandStory account, you shall equally be bound by the user agreements and other terms of the actual providers of such software and services.

When you log in to a series of client software products and websites operated by the Company and/or its affiliates using a registered or synchronized account (if available), you shall comply with the user agreements and other terms of such software products and websites.

3.9 After you complete account registration and login on SandStory and undergo reasonable and necessary identity verification, you may browse and modify your submitted personal identity information at any time. You understand and agree that, for security and identity identification purposes (such as account or password recovery appeal services), you may not be able to modify the initial registration information and other verification information provided at the time of registration. You may also apply for account cancellation. The Company will assist you in canceling your account after completing reasonable and necessary verification of your personal identity, security status, device information, and infringement complaints, and will delete all information related to your account in accordance with your request, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations.

3.10 You understand and agree that, to make full use of account resources, if you do not log in for the first time promptly after registration or do not log in to your account for more than two consecutive months, the Company has the right to reclaim your account. If your account is reclaimed, you may not be able to log in to and use SandStory and its related services through the account you previously held, and any personalized settings and usage records stored under that account will not be recoverable. Before reclaiming your account, the Company will notify you in an appropriate manner. If you still do not log in to or use the account within a certain period after receiving the relevant notice, the Company will proceed with account reclamation.

If your account is reclaimed, you may register a new account to log in to and use SandStory and its related services. Your registration, login, and use of a new account will still be governed by the relevant provisions of this Agreement.

3.11 A new account will be created by default upon first login.

4. Protection of User Personal Information

The Company is committed to working with you to protect your personal information (i.e., information that can identify you independently or when combined with other information).

Protecting user personal information is one of the Company's fundamental principles. During your use of SandStory and its related services, you may need to provide your personal information (including but not limited to your name, phone number, location information, device information, etc.) so that the Company can provide you with better services and corresponding technical support. The Company will protect your rights to browse, modify, and delete relevant personal information, as well as to withdraw authorization, in accordance with the law, and will employ encryption technology, anonymization, and other technical and security measures commensurate with SandStory and its related services to protect your personal information.

5. User Conduct Standards

5.1 User Conduct Requirements

You shall be responsible for your conduct when using SandStory and its related services. Unless permitted by law or with the Company's prior written consent, you shall not engage in the following conduct when using SandStory and its related services:

5.1.1 Using any plug-ins, add-ons, systems, or third-party tools not authorized or licensed by the Company to interfere with, disrupt, modify, or otherwise affect the normal operation of SandStory and its related services.

5.1.2 Exploiting or targeting SandStory and its related services to engage in any conduct that endangers computer network security, including but not limited to:

(1) Illegally intruding into networks, disrupting normal network functions, stealing network data, or other activities that endanger network security;

(2) Providing programs or tools specifically designed for activities that endanger network security, such as intruding into networks, disrupting normal network functions and protective measures, or stealing network data;

(3) Providing technical support, advertising promotion, payment settlement, or other assistance to a person while knowing that such person is engaged in activities endangering network security;

(4) Using unauthorized data or accessing unauthorized servers/accounts;

(5) Entering public computer networks or other persons' computer systems without permission and deleting, modifying, or adding stored information;

(6) Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerabilities of the SandStory system or network, or otherwise engaging in conduct that undermines network security, without permission;

(7) Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the SandStory system or website, intentionally spreading malicious programs or viruses, or engaging in other conduct that disrupts normal network information services;

(8) Forging TCP/IP packet headers or parts thereof;

(9) Reverse engineering, reverse assembling, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to discover the source code of SandStory and its related services;

(10) Maliciously registering SandStory accounts, including but not limited to frequent or bulk account registration;

(11) Other conduct that violates laws and regulations, this Agreement, the Company's relevant rules, or infringes upon the lawful rights and interests of others.

5.1.3 If the Company has reason to believe that your conduct violates or may violate the above provisions, the Company may independently make judgments and take action, and has the right to terminate the provision of services to you at any time without prior notice, and to pursue legal liability in accordance with the law.

5.2 Content Display and Standards

5.2.1 After completing real-name verification as required, you may log in to SandStory using a registered account or a SandStory partner platform account to post information, interact, comment, etc.

5.2.2 The Company is committed to making the posting of information, interactive communication, and commenting a civil, rational, friendly, and high-quality exchange of opinions. While promoting the development of information posting, interactive communication, and commenting services, the Company continuously strengthens corresponding information security management capabilities, improves self-discipline in information posting, interactive communication, and commenting, earnestly fulfills social responsibilities, complies with national laws and regulations, respects the lawful rights and interests of citizens, and respects social public order and good customs.

5.2.3 Information that you create, comment on, post, or disseminate (including but not limited to private videos casually shot or uploaded to the SandStory platform) shall consciously comply with the "seven bottom lines" requirements, including laws and regulations, the socialist system, national interests, the lawful rights and interests of citizens, social public order, morality, and information authenticity. Otherwise, the Company has the right to immediately take corresponding measures. You agree and undertake not to create, reproduce, post, or disseminate the following information:

(1) Content that opposes the fundamental principles established by the Constitution;

(2) Content that endangers national security or leaks state secrets;

(3) Content that subverts state power, overthrows the socialist system, incites secession, or undermines national unity;

(4) Content that harms national honor and interests;

(5) Content that promotes terrorism or extremism;

(6) Content that promotes ethnic hatred or discrimination or undermines ethnic unity;

(7) Content that incites regional discrimination or regional hatred;

(8) Content that undermines national religious policies or promotes cults or feudal superstitions;

(9) Content that fabricates or spreads rumors or false information, disrupts economic or social order, or undermines social stability;

(10) Content that disseminates or spreads obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terror, or incites crime;

(11) Content that endangers network security or uses the network to engage in activities that endanger national security, honor, and interests;

(12) Content that insults or defames others or infringes upon the lawful rights and interests of others;

(13) Content that involves violent intimidation or threats against others, or engaging in human flesh searches;

(14) Content involving the privacy, personal information, or data of others;

(15) Content that spreads profanity or harms social public order and good customs;

(16) Content that infringes upon the privacy rights, reputation rights, portrait rights, intellectual property rights, or other lawful rights and interests of others;

(17) Content that disseminates commercial advertisements or similar commercial solicitation information, excessive marketing information, or spam;

(18) Using languages other than the commonly used language of this website for commenting;

(19) Content that is completely unrelated to the information being commented on;

(20) Content that is meaningless or deliberately uses character combinations to evade technical review;

(21) Content that infringes upon the lawful rights and interests of minors or harms the physical and mental health of minors;

(22) Secretly filming or recording others without their permission, infringing upon the lawful rights of others;

(23) Content involving terror, violence, gore, high danger, or content that endangers the physical or mental health of performers or others, including but not limited to the following:

Any content involving violent and/or self-harm behavior;

Any content that threatens life or health, uses dangerous instruments such as knives in performances, or endangers the personal and/or property rights of oneself or others;

iii. Content that instigates or induces others to participate in dangerous or illegal activities that may cause personal injury or death;

(24) Other content that violates laws, regulations, policies, public order and good customs, interferes with the normal operation of SandStory, or infringes upon the lawful rights and interests of other users or third parties.

5.2.4 Content you create, post, or disseminate shall comply with the provisions of the Administrative Regulations on Internet Audio-Visual Information Services and other relevant laws and regulations. You shall not use new technologies and applications based on deep learning, virtual reality, or similar technologies to create, post, or disseminate false news information. When posting or disseminating non-real audio-visual information created using new technologies and applications based on deep learning, virtual reality, or similar technologies, you shall clearly label it in a conspicuous manner.

5.3 The Company has established a public complaint and reporting platform. You may file complaints and reports with the Company regarding various illegal and non-compliant activities, illegal dissemination activities, illegal and harmful information, and other content in accordance with the Company's published complaint and reporting system. The Company will promptly accept and handle your complaints and reports to jointly foster a clean and positive online environment.

6. SandStory Content Usage Standards

6.1 Without the Company's written permission, no user or third party may, on their own or by authorizing, permitting, or assisting others, engage in the following conduct with respect to the information content in SandStory and its related services:

(1) Reproducing, reading, or adopting the information content of SandStory and its related services for commercial purposes, including but not limited to promotion, increasing readership, or page views;

(2) Editing, organizing, or arranging the information content of SandStory and its related services without authorization and displaying it through channels other than the source pages of SandStory and its related services;

(3) Using any form of identification methods, including but not limited to special identifiers or special codes, to, on their own or by assisting third parties, generate traffic, guide readership, divert, or hijack, or otherwise adversely affect the information content of SandStory and its related services;

(4) Other acts of illegally obtaining or using the information content of SandStory and its related services.

6.2 Without the Company's written permission, no user or third party may, in any manner (including but not limited to hotlinking, redundant theft, illegal scraping, simulated downloading, deep linking, fake registration, etc.), directly or indirectly misappropriate the video, graphic, audio, or other information content of SandStory and its related services, or delete or alter the rights management electronic information of the relevant content in any manner (including but not limited to hiding or modifying domain names, platform-specific identifiers, usernames, etc.).

6.3 After obtaining the Company's written permission, the sharing, forwarding, or other actions by users or third parties with respect to the information content of SandStory and its related services shall also comply with the following standards:

(1) Without the Company's prior written consent, relevant data obtained through scraping, statistics, or other means, such as search hot words, hit rates, categories, search volumes, click-through rates, and readership, shall not be publicly displayed, provided, or disclosed to any third party in any manner;

(2) No alteration of any kind shall be made to the source pages of SandStory and its related services, including but not limited to the homepage links, advertising system links, and other entry points of SandStory and its related services, nor shall the display of the source pages of SandStory and its related services be obstructed, inserted with pop-ups, or otherwise interfered with in any form;

(3) Secure, effective, and stringent measures shall be taken to prevent the information content of SandStory and its related services from being illegally obtained by third parties through any means, including but not limited to "spider" programs;

(4) The relevant data content shall not be used for purposes beyond the scope of the Company's written permission, nor shall it be sold or commercially used in any form, or disclosed, provided to, or permitted for use by third parties in any manner.

(5) Users' sharing, forwarding, or reproduction of the information content of SandStory and its related services to any third party shall also comply with other standards and rules established by the Company for this purpose.

7. Breach of Agreement

7.1 For your violation of this Agreement or other service terms, the Company has the right to independently determine and take measures as appropriate, including but not limited to pre-warning, refusing to publish, immediately ceasing the transmission of information, deleting content or comments, temporarily banning the posting of content or comments, restricting some or all account features, terminating the provision of services, or permanently closing the account. The Company shall not bear any liability for consequences such as your inability to use the account and related services normally or to obtain assets or other rights in your account as a result. The Company has the right to announce the results of the handling and to decide, based on actual circumstances, whether to restore the use of the relevant account. For conduct suspected of violating laws or regulations or constituting criminal offenses, the Company will preserve relevant records and has the right to report to the competent authorities in accordance with the law, cooperate with investigations by the competent authorities, and report cases to public security authorities. The Company has the right not to restore deleted content.

7.2 If a third party files a complaint or claims compensation due to your violation of this Agreement or other service terms, you shall handle the matter on your own and bear all legal liability that may arise as a result. If your illegal or defaulting conduct causes the Company, its affiliates, controlling companies, or successor companies to compensate any third party or be subject to penalties imposed by state authorities, you shall also fully compensate the Company, its affiliates, controlling companies, and successor companies for all losses incurred as a result.

7.3 The Company respects and protects the intellectual property rights, reputation rights, name rights, privacy rights, and other lawful rights and interests of users and others. You warrant that the text, images, videos, audio, links, and other content you upload when using SandStory and its related services do not infringe upon any third party's intellectual property rights, reputation rights, name rights, privacy rights, or other rights and lawful interests. Otherwise, the Company has the right to remove such allegedly infringing content upon receiving notice from the rights holder or relevant parties. You shall handle all claims raised by third parties on your own and bear all legal liability that may arise as a result. If your infringing conduct causes losses to the Company, its affiliates, controlling companies, or successor companies (including but not limited to economic losses, goodwill losses, etc.), you shall also fully compensate the Company, its affiliates, controlling companies, and successor companies for all losses incurred.

8. Modification, Suspension, and Termination of Services

8.1 You understand and agree that SandStory and its related services provided by the Company are offered on an "as is" basis according to the current state of technology and conditions. The Company will make its best efforts to provide services to you and ensure the continuity and security of the services. You understand that the Company cannot foresee and prevent all legal, technical, and other risks at all times, including but not limited to service interruptions, inability to use SandStory and its related services normally, and other losses and risks caused by force majeure, network issues, third-party service defects, third-party websites, and other reasons.

8.2 You understand and agree that the Company, for the needs of overall service operations and platform operation security, has the right to determine, at its discretion, the setting of services/features and their scope, and to modify, suspend, discontinue, or terminate SandStory and its related services.

9.1 You understand and agree that during your use of SandStory and its related services, the Company may push relevant information, advertisements, or brand promotion services to you, and the Company will display commercial advertisements, promotions, or information (including commercial or non-commercial information) of SandStory and its related services and/or third-party suppliers and partners within SandStory and its related services.

9.2 If you do not wish to receive targeted advertisements, you have the right to select "Not Interested" for such advertisement information, and the push of similar advertisements of the same type will be reduced.

9.3 If you do not wish to receive push notification services from SandStory, you have the right to disable this service in your device's system notification settings.

9.4 The Company fulfills its advertising and promotion-related obligations in accordance with legal provisions. You shall independently judge the authenticity and reliability of such advertisements or promotional information and shall be responsible for your own judgment. Except as expressly provided by laws and regulations, you shall bear the responsibility for any purchases, transactions, or damages or losses incurred as a result of such advertisements or promotional information, and the Company shall not be liable.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 The intellectual property rights in the content provided by the Company in SandStory and its related services (including but not limited to software, technology, programs, web pages, text, images, graphics, audio, video, charts, layout designs, electronic documents, etc.) belong to the Company. The copyrights, patent rights, and other intellectual property rights in the software on which the Company relies to provide SandStory and its related services are owned by the Company. Without the Company's permission, no one may use (including but not limited to monitoring, reproducing, distributing, displaying, mirroring, uploading, or downloading through any robots, "spiders," or other programs or devices) the content in SandStory and its related services without authorization.

10.2 You understand and undertake that the content you post and upload when using SandStory and its related services (including but not limited to text, images, video, audio, and all components contained therein, such as music, sound, dialogue, visual design, etc.) is either originally created by you or has been lawfully authorized (including the right to sublicense). The intellectual property rights in the content generated by your uploading and posting through SandStory belong to you or the original copyright owner.

10.3 Unless there is evidence to the contrary, you acknowledge, understand, and agree that, to enable better sharing and promotion of your works and to enhance their dissemination value and influence, for the content you upload, post, or transmit through SandStory and its related services (including but not limited to text, images, audio, video, live streaming content, and all components contained therein, such as music, sound, dialogue, visual design, conversations, etc.), you grant the Company, its affiliates, controlling companies, and successor companies a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable (through multiple tiers) license (including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, translation, compilation, information network dissemination, adaptation, creation of derivative works, performance, and display). The scope of use of the above rights includes but is not limited to use on current or other websites, applications, products, or terminal devices. You hereby confirm and agree that the Company has the right to use and otherwise develop the content (in whole or in part) on its own or by licensing third parties in any publicity, promotion, advertising, marketing, and/or research related to the above content, SandStory and its related services, the Company, and/or the Company's brand. For the avoidance of doubt, you understand and agree that the above granted rights include the right and license to use, reproduce, and display your personal image, likeness, name, trademarks, service marks, brands, names, logos, and corporate marks (if any) that you own or are licensed to use and that are embedded in the content, as well as any other brand, marketing, or promotional assets, materials, or elements. Based on the characteristics of certain features, the content you post through SandStory and its related services (including but not limited to sounds, audio, or dialogue contained in the content) may be used by other users when creating and posting related content using the SandStory software.

10.4 You confirm and agree to authorize the Company to, in the Company's own name or by commissioning professional third parties, enforce rights on your behalf against infringements of the content you have uploaded and posted that enjoy intellectual property rights, with enforcement forms including but not limited to: monitoring infringing activities, sending enforcement letters, filing lawsuits or arbitration, mediation, settlement, etc. The Company has the right to make decisions on enforcement matters and implement them independently.

10.5 The Company provides technical support for the development and operation of SandStory and enjoys all rights permitted by laws and regulations in all data and information generated during the development and operation of SandStory and its related services.

10.6 Under no circumstances shall you privately use any of the Company's trademarks, service marks, trade names, domain names, website names, or other distinctive brand features (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Marks"), including but not limited to "沙之物语科技," "沙之物语," "sandstory.cn," etc. Without the Company's prior written consent, you shall not display, use, apply for trademark registration of, register domain names for, or otherwise deal with the Marks referred to in this clause, whether alone or in combination, nor shall you engage in any conduct that expressly or implicitly indicates to others that you have the right to display, use, or otherwise deal with such Marks. If you cause losses to the Company or others due to your violation of this Agreement by using the Company's above trademarks, Marks, etc., you shall bear full legal liability.

11.1 You understand and agree that SandStory and its related services may be affected or interfered with by various factors, and the Company does not warrant (including but not limited to):

11.1.1 That SandStory and its related services will fully meet your usage requirements;

11.1.2 That SandStory and its related services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, reliable, or error-free; that any software, services, or other materials obtained by you through the Company will meet your expectations;

11.1.3 That any errors in SandStory and its related services will be corrected.

11.2 If there is any information related to suspected borrowing, investment and financing, financial management, or other property-related online information, account passwords, advertisements, or promotional information, please treat it with caution and make your own judgment. The Company shall not bear any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive liability for any loss of profits, business reputation, data, or other tangible or intangible losses you may suffer as a result.

11.3 You understand and agree that during your use of SandStory and its related services, you may encounter force majeure events (force majeure refers to objective events that cannot be foreseen, overcome, or avoided), including but not limited to government actions, natural disasters (such as floods, earthquakes, typhoons, etc.), network issues, wars, strikes, riots, etc. In the event of force majeure, the Company will make efforts to promptly restore services at the earliest opportunity, but the Company shall be exempt from liability within the scope permitted by laws and regulations for any suspension, discontinuation, or termination of services, or any losses caused by force majeure.

11.4 The Company's right to handle illegal and non-compliant content as stipulated in this Agreement does not constitute an obligation or commitment of the Company, and the Company cannot guarantee that illegal activities will be discovered or handled in a timely manner.

11.5 You understand and agree that: regarding SandStory and its related services, the Company makes no express or implied warranties or conditions of any kind, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You shall bear the corresponding risks for your use of SandStory and its related services.

11.6 You understand and agree that this Agreement is intended to ensure compliance with national laws and regulations, maintain public order and good customs, and protect the lawful rights and interests of users and others. The Company makes its best efforts within its capacity to make judgments in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, but does not guarantee that its judgments will be entirely consistent with those of judicial or administrative authorities. You have understood and agree to bear any consequences arising therefrom.

11.7 In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, consequential, punitive, incidental, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits arising from your use of SandStory and its related services. Unless otherwise expressly provided by laws and regulations, the Company's total liability to you, regardless of the cause or form of action, shall not exceed the fees (if any) paid by you to the Company during your use of SandStory and its related services.

12. Special Provisions on Standalone Services and Third-Party Services

12.1 SandStory and its related services include information or information content links obtained by the Company through various lawful means, as well as other standalone services lawfully operated by the Company and its affiliates. These services may exist in the form of separate sections within SandStory. The Company has the right to add, reduce, or modify the settings and services of these special sections from time to time.

12.2 You may enable and use the above standalone service features within the SandStory software. Certain standalone services may require you to simultaneously accept agreements specially formulated for such services or other rules binding you and the provider of such services. When necessary, the Company will provide such agreements and rules in a conspicuous manner for your review. Once you begin using the above services, you are deemed to have understood and accepted the binding force of the relevant agreements and rules for the standalone services. If the usage period is not specified, or is specified as "permanent," "indefinite," or "unlimited," the usage period of these services shall be from the date you begin using the service until the date the service ceases to be provided within the SandStory software.

12.3 When you use software and related services provided by third parties within the SandStory software, in addition to complying with this Agreement and other relevant rules within the SandStory software, you may also need to agree to and comply with the third party's agreements and relevant rules. Any disputes, losses, or damages arising from third-party software and related services shall be resolved between you and the third party on your own, and the Company shall not bear any liability to you or any third party in this regard.

13. Provisions for Minors

13.1 If you are a minor under the age of 18, you may use SandStory and its related services only after carefully reading and agreeing to this Agreement under the guardianship and guidance of your guardian and with the guardian's consent.

13.2 The Company values the protection of minors' personal information. When filling in personal information, minor users should strengthen their awareness of personal protection, exercise caution, and use SandStory and its related services correctly with the consent and under the guidance of their guardians.

13.3 Minor users and their guardians understand and confirm that if you violate laws, regulations, or the content of this Agreement, you and your guardian shall bear all legal liability that may arise as a result in accordance with legal provisions.

13.4 Special Notice for Minor Users

13.4.1 Minors using SandStory and its related services should do so under the supervision and guidance of their guardians, learning to use the internet correctly within a reasonable scope, avoiding addiction to the virtual online space, and developing good internet habits.

13.4.2 Young users must comply with the National Youth Network Civility Convention:

(1) Be adept at online learning and refrain from browsing harmful information;

(2) Communicate honestly and amicably, and refrain from insulting or defrauding others;

(3) Enhance self-protection awareness and refrain from casually meeting online acquaintances;

(4) Maintain network security and refrain from disrupting network order;

(5) Foster physical and mental health and refrain from indulging in virtual time and space.

13.4.3 To better protect the privacy rights and interests of minors, the Company specifically reminds you to exercise caution when posting content containing materials of minors. Once posted, you are deemed to have obtained the consent of the rights holders to display the minor's portrait, voice, and other information on SandStory and its related services, and to permit the Company to use and process such minor-related content in accordance with this Agreement.

13.5 Special Notice for Guardians

13.5.1 If your ward uses SandStory and its related services, you, as the guardian, shall guide and supervise the ward's registration and usage activities. If your ward applies to register a SandStory account, the Company will have the right to deem that your consent has been obtained.

13.5.2 Your ward may use features such as top-up and tipping when using SandStory and its related services. As a guardian, please safeguard your payment devices, payment accounts, and payment passwords to prevent your ward from using top-up, tipping, or other features through your SandStory account without your consent.

14.1 The formation, effectiveness, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If any provision of this Agreement is rendered invalid due to conflict with the laws of the People's Republic of China, such provision shall be reinterpreted and applied in a manner as close as possible to the original intent of the provision without violating the law, and the remaining provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

14.2 To provide you with better services or due to changes in national laws, regulations, policies, technical conditions, product features, etc., the Company will revise this Agreement from time to time, and the revised content shall form an integral part of this Agreement. After this Agreement is updated, the Company will issue the updated version within SandStory and, before the updated terms take effect, notify you of the updated content through announcements on the official website (www.sandstory.cn) or other appropriate means, so that you may stay informed of the latest version of this Agreement. You may also review the latest version of the Agreement terms on the website homepage or the software settings page. If you continue to use SandStory and its related services, it shall be deemed that you have agreed to accept the revised content of this Agreement.
